A very rare denarius of Juba II with a wonderful rendering of Africa

KINGS OF MAURETANIA. Juba II, 25 BC-AD 24. Denarius (Silver, 16 mm, 2.82 g, 11 h), Caesarea Mauretaniae. REX IVBA Diademed bust of Juba II to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. Draped bust of Africa to right, wearing elephant skin headdress with a wreath held by the trunk; to left, two spears; to right, stalk of grain. MAA 73. Mazard 131. SNG Copenhagen -. Very rare. A wonderful piece, very well centered and with beautiful old collection toning. Minor flan faults on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
